Day 1 Highlights 2023

We thought we would share our first submission as a tease to get everyone excited; and we ended up with enough high quality submissions that we wanted to share FOUR videos of great music submitted to the contest.

The very first video and song submitted blew us away from Pinkerton Raid from Durham NC.  Love the Beatles satire in the middle of the pictures.  It did have a unique English feel and the story behind the song in the YouTube description is a must to read.

A past finalist Daniel Elixir put through his farmer hat into the mix for good luck, with this Bad Luck song.  Yes a reminder, if you didn't win; you can submit again.  We just ask you not to repeat any song that you've submitted in the past.

Mark Rubin recognized that a bunch of judges from a folk festival might enjoy a political song; well we do and you should appreciate this great tune.

Speaking of hippies... just toss a VW van into a video and we're suckers to share it; at least Fox and Bones gets first dibs.
